The long awaited opening of this lovely golf course, designed by Cabell B. Robinson, finally happened in January 2004. The course consists of four par 3’s, each offering its own individual challenge, four par 5’s, one of which, at 603 metres is probably the longest on the coast, and ten par 4’s - Santana golf course is situated in one of the most beautiful valleys on the Costa del Sol, located in what was an old avocado plantation. Santana is going to be a very challenging and scenic course and is already proving to be a firm favourite with those that have played it. As a new course it offers a maturity that you don’t normally find in such courses, enhanced by the number of avocado and cork trees that have been retained. A course we would highly recommend playing.
