This spectacular golf course, designed by Antonio Garcia Garrido, is set in a wooded valley and follows the natural contours of the river bed. The par 3 6th hole is especially challenging. It is located on the highest point of the course, before you need to tackle a formidable tee shot down towards the guarded green some 180 metres away.

It is extremely popular (always in the top 3 courses for our bookings), and often requested by returning golfers (early booking here is advised). Santa Maria is noted for its excellent fairways, it is a long walk and many prefer to use a buggy, but most of the the local golfers here walk.
