Santa Clara Granada Golf Course

Santa Clara Granada is a new course situated in Otura, just off the main ring road outside Granada with the Sierra Nevada mountains as a backdrop.

The golf course, designed by Enrique Canales Busquets has been created with respect for the natural environment of indigenous wildlife and vegetation. The course is at an altitude of 870 metres so plays shorter than its 6.598 metres off the competition tees. The course has reasonably wide fairways and is enjoyable for players of all handicaps. The course is highlighted by its third hole, a nonending par 5 of 550 meters, as well as its seventh, thirteenth and fourteenth, with 463, 544 and 521 respectively, which require golfers to make long and acurate shots.

With another 3 courses nearby, the historic city of Granada offers a new destination for golfers looking for something different - very reasonable green fees, less crowded golf and the opportunity to explore Granada and the Alhambra. It is also possible to combine golf and skiing - the ski resort at Sierra Nevada is only 30 minutes drive up the mountain.

Another feature of Santa Clara Granada is that is has it's own Spa - with access free of charge for greenfee payers midweek and only 5.00€ more at weekends.
