Situated near to Vejer de la Frontera just off the N340 (km42.5)about 60kms from Gibralter, Montenmedio Golf and Country Club is one of those rare courses in Spain without any housing alongside the fairways.

The course is set in the forests of cork oak, wild olive and pine trees in 500 hectares of private estate, which also houses the largest equestrian centre in Europe. Whilst not the longest course, it demands accurate golf to make a good score, but it is also a 'fair' course. It really is one of the most pleasant courses to play in Southern Spain and even worth a drive up from the Costa del Sol.

The Clubhouse is built in neoclassic Andalucian style and apart from the excellent restaurant also has a large courtyard swimming pool.
