Three breathtaking courses (the new course, Campo Europa opened March 2005) designed by American designer Cabell B. Robinson, in a spectacular setting, featuring immaculate fairways peppered with white bunkers and very rapid undulating greens, a real test of your golfing skills. The South course, La Cala Campo Sur, opened in 1990, is challenging for all levels of golfer, rewarding accuracy. In the words of the architect, La Cala Campo Norte is situated 'on the limits of where it is possible to successfully build a course.' The North course has a Championship layout, golf professionals finding it very challenging off the white tees. However the wide fairways make it enjoyable for handicap golfers. The new course, Campo Europa, is a challenging par 71, 6014 metre course, with the river Ojen coming into play on eight holes, and crossing three fairways. David Leadbetter has one of his famous Golf Schools at the La Cala Resort. We would recommend buggies at La Cala.
