The course is situated in Alhaurín El Grande, half-way between Mijas and Coín - and now all the roadworks have been completed it is much faster and easier to get to the course.

Alhaurin Golf is actually two golf courses; the main one has 18 holes and the second has 9 par-3 holes and is ideal for practising the short game. The main course is a par-72 situated on undulating terrain, giving it considerable appeal which, added to the original design by the legendary Seve, makes it a real challenge for the strong player and great entertainment for medium to high handicappers. It comprises 5 par-3 holes, 5 par-5s and 8 par-4s, each one different from the rest, all of them challenging, demanding, original and fun. Over the 18 holes you will come to enjoy the superb contrast between the manicured fairways, rough and the untamed surroundings of the Sierra de Mijas.

The par-3 golf course has a unique layout with its own special beauty and variety. Not only is it an outstanding location for new golfers to begin playing, one where they will not feel intimidated by other golfers, but also a perfect place for practising the short game.
